The Youth Inter-Partnership Program (YIPP) is a national initiative under the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment, designed to connect young Ghanaians with complementary strengths to create sustainable businesses and employment opportunities.
Any young Ghanaian between the ages of 18 and 35 who has a resource (land, capital, equipment, etc.) or a business idea/skill can apply. You must be a Ghanaian citizen and have a valid Ghana Card.
A Resource Holder is an individual who has physical assets such as land, capital, equipment, vehicles, warehouses, or existing businesses but needs someone with skills, ideas, or management capability to partner with.
An Idea Holder is an individual with a viable business concept, technical skills, or expertise but lacks the physical resources (land, capital, equipment) to execute it. YIPP connects them with Resource Holders.
After you complete your application and verification, the YIPP team reviews profiles and matches Resource Holders with Idea Holders based on sector preference, resource compatibility, location, and partnership preferences. Matching is done by our admin team with the help of a smart compatibility algorithm.
Yes. YIPP facilitates a legally binding partnership agreement between matched partners to protect both parties and ensure clarity on roles, responsibilities, and profit sharing.
You will need a valid Ghana Card (front and back), a recent passport photo, and depending on your category: land documents (for Resource Holders) or professional/skill certificates (for Idea Holders).
No. YIPP is a government-supported initiative and participation is completely free for all applicants.
The matching process typically takes 2–6 weeks after successful verification, depending on the availability of compatible partners in your sector and region.
Yes. YIPP is a national program and accepts applications from all 16 regions of Ghana. While we prioritize local partnerships, we also facilitate cross-region partnerships if no local match is available.
